IEP Review
Mr. Grabowski was very helpful in getting the IEP process started for my daughter, especially when dealing with a school administration/SST team that seemed reluctant to put in for evaluation all while pointing out all the evidence of an issue. Very knowledgeable of the process and won’t allow administration to be dismissive of your concerns for your child.
IEP Review
Mr. Grabowski is very knowledgeable on the laws/regulations pertaining to NNPS and SPED. He fights for your kids as though they are his own while guiding the parent through the entire process. I had an extremely hard time getting my son’s school to start the IEP process, but after one meeting with Mr. Grabowski’s involvement the school listened. I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle yet firm he was regarding the administrators on my child’s specific education needs and making them aware of the timeline that must be followed. He is also extremely affordable! I would recommend Mr. Grabowski to any family looking for an advocate. His passion for helping families undoubtedly shines through his work.
IEP Review
I have 3 kids in the IEP process. It has been extremely hard and difficult process to be able to manage 3 different IEPs. My son we thought was approved for his IEP and apparently had only a speech IEP. ( at least that is what the school has lead us to believe) In October I got a phone call from his kindergarten teacher talking about retention. This is when we started to panic because they followed that up with an early intervention assessment meeting when he already had a IEP in process. The meetings were slow and going nowhere while my child was being treated as the class mascot because he was not “school ready”. This is when we called Tim. We wish we would have called him way earlier but we didn’t even know there were people like him out there. He got all the paperwork and got to work. A slurry of emails and follow ups by the next meeting he had a plan in place to address the school. He followed up with us and made sure to educate us on how these processes work and gave us tools to help advocate for our son and other children when Mr. Grabowski cannot be there. We were blown away because the accommodations he received were far above the average. He has more meeting minutes than in the general class room. Plus they gave us ESY which is nothing but meeting minutes. This was in April. It is now June and my son is excelling! The school even had a conversation about possibly pushing him forward without retention because the minutes are helping him so much. But we decided it be best to start fresh with his peers because his mountain would be too much to climb. We can’t thank Mr. Grabowski enough for his commitment to my son. He has followed up numerous times checking on my child. He has fought for my kid as if he was his own and we are extremely grateful. We can’t recommend him enough.
504 Review
I can’t begin to describe how helpful Tim has been in advocating for my middle school son as we continue to navigate the 504 process. Tim reviewed his 504, listened to our concerns, and helped us come up with a plan for the 504 review meeting. He played a crucial role during the 504 meeting and helped so much in reiterating and clarifying my son’s needs. He knew when we needed support and spoke up on our son’s behalf when there was confusion or resistance. The new 504 better meets my son’s needs and knowing I can reach out to Tim for help if needed throughout the school year is such a relief. Tim’s knowledge and professionalism is unmatched and I highly recommend him!
